Luxurious Oboe Sounds

Come explore works featuring the warm and melodious tones of the oboe. Beginning with one of Haydn’s most wonderful string quartets, nicknamed “Quinten,” and continuing with charming works by Mozart and Bax, this program is a tour of European music and folk songs designed to usher in the holiday season.
                                                                                                         
Reserved seats are available in advance online or by phone, and will also be available at the door. The box office opens 60 minutes prior to the concert and the house opens 30 minutes prior.  A free pre-concert lecture begins at 1:45, hosted by Wesley Schulz and Dave Beck. This concert is sponsored in part by the City of Auburn and the Boeing Company.
