Kent Serves is a new effort designed to increase communication, provide opportunities for information sharing, community calendaring, and create connection and potential collaboration on efforts that require volunteer and financial resources.
How many times have you launched an event, food or clothing drive and heard others in your office or neighborhood say “that lands on another event day” or “the scouts were just here collecting” or “we just sent a bunch of stuff to school with our child.”
Kent Serves is a first a modest step in bringing us together to have these conversations, find mutual connecting points, and have dialogue on issues impacting our community.
We hope you or a representative of your organization can attend on January 14th at 5 PM at the Kent Senior Center and see what the true impact of Kent Serves can be.
