Sound Transit Update and Downtown Kent Parking Garage Project Education & Feedback
Kent Station Access Improvements include the construction of a 450-stall multi-level parking structure to be located in our downtown but where? Come to the March luncheon and learn about this project and provide feedback regarding where this project will be located and what it will look like.
Flexible Access to Street Facilities: Examine alternative to expanded parking that would meet the demands of the community and riders’ need.
Potential Strategies Include:
s Pedestrian/bicycle improvements
s Additional bus/transfer facilities
s Transit speed and reliability improvements
s Expanded a new kiss-and-ride areas
s Off-sit parking along an existing bus route with frequent connections
This project could result in a mix of improvements along with or instead of parking
